I love the way the Freshman bit works on my moderately aggressive horses that are sensitive and/or in their first years of competition. Horses accept this bit very well transitioning up in control from my “Rookie” bit. The chain mouth invites a great headset, while the short shank and curb chain provide just a little control to help make a great turn!
